special education schools in Rockland County - Jawonio Primetime Keller?
Please help!
We're in the Nyack school district and I have been given these three options - Jawonio, Primetime for Kids, and Fred S. Keller school.
My son - 3.5 years old, diagnosed with PDD - has very delayed speech and some cognitive and social difficulties but no behavioral issues.
He does not do well in a very rigid setting, but I think he would benefit greatly from as much individual attention as possible, along with plenty of opportunities to socialize.
I have already visited Jawonio and would be happy to send him there. I will be visiting the other two, but I'd like to know about other people's thoughts and experiences.
Please share your experiences and thoughts and knowledge on these schools.
