Default Lake Ontario and Lake Erie beaches

I've got cabin fever so I'm dreaming of summer...

What are your favorite and least favorite beaches on Lake Ontario or Lake Erie?

My favorite (still after all these years) on Lake Ontario is Southwick. Nice sandy beach, pretty big beach depth, and you can even go sandbar walking for quite a ways before running into private property. The picnic tables are in full view of the beach and under the trees too. I'm in the Syracuse area, so Fair Haven is closer, but Southwick is worth the longer trip.

My least favorite is just down the road at Selkirk Shores (though everyone just calls it Selkirk, I think?) The beach is tiny, too many rocks, and of course the loverly view of the Nine Mile Point nuclear power plant. Great place to watch a sunset but underwhelming for swimming or camping (awful awful campground, it's like a grassy parking lot). About the only thing Selkirk has going for it in my opinion is a pretty picnic area that's up on a hill side.

My personal favorite will always be the podunk of Kuckville in Orleans county. Considered Lyndonville/Carlton/Waterport. It's very "country" but the shoreline is beautiful and has many cliffs as well as sandy beach areas. Most of all its because my family had a cottage there when I was growing up and I have so many fond memories!

Someone actually just posted a similar question. I like Olcott the best, there are shops, restaurants, ice cream. There are parks by the water for picknicks and bbqs also.
