Default Possibly relocating close to CIA, need advice

Hello all..

I'm from the Philadelphia area, and my husband is thinking of attending CIA. So, we'd relocate there for the duration of his time in school.
I'm just curious about renting near CIA.

We would want to be in a good school district, and do not mind my husband having a little bit of a drive (no more than 30-45 minutes though) The school district is our main concern.
I've never been to that part of NY, so of course I'd check it out first, but would love some feedback on that area.

Thank you so much.

Since the Culinary Institute of America is located near Poughkeepsie, I would say Arlington schools seems to be a good choice. Here is some information on the schools districts in Dutchess county, where CIA is located:https://www.nystart.gov/publicweb/Co...ounty=Dutchess

The CIA is actually just south of Hyde Park on Route 9, some miles north of Poughkeepsie.

I'd recommend living somewhere in Northern Dutchess County, to avoid the heavy traffic down south near Poughkeepsie. Places like Hyde Park, Staatsburgh, Millbrook come to mind. There's no reason to live 45 minutes away from the CIA. There is at least one appartment complex right there on Route 9 more or less across the street from the CIA.

ckh- thank you for that link.

ss58- the reason i say he's willing to drive 45 minutes, is so we are in the best possible public school district.
