Default Garden City Park- Herricks Schools!!
I am a single mother who is looking to buy in Garden City park(Herricks Schools). I work in manhattan and the house is close to LIRR in Mineola. I found a house in the low 600's. A friend who lives in New Hyde park tells me this is too high for GCP!!! Please advise...Thanks!!!

As far as I know the Herricks school district is still pretty good. And it is not too far a commute to Manhattan. But just so you know - Garden City Park is a hamlet in the Town of North Hempstead. It is next to but not part of the famous village of Garden City.
