Default Is Piermont, NY a safe community?
My bf and I are moving to a condo in Piermont, NY next month. When we looking at places we immediately fell in love with the area! However, I have been looking at the crime statistics and they seem rather high? As a female in her 20's I would like to be able to ride my bike, run and feel safe. Also, like to leave the windows open in the summer.

Can someone please give me some insight on the crime in this community?

I've never heard of serious crime problems in Piermont. I would suggest being careful whereever you go, especially alone in abandoned places. But avoid dark alleys at midnight, and I should be fine.
