just took the walk in co test today computer results said i scored 80% should I START lookn for another job? lol im hearing they are only picking people who scored 90 and above how true is this does anyone know?

Don't hold your breath. I took the apr 4th test 2009 and I scored a 95 and I am number 25 on the list. I haven't heard a thing and it will be a year tomorrow! |

Hey guys! Great Forum.... Just got my appointment for physical and investigation. The physical doesnt look hard at all, but i have never loaded a gun and that is one of the stations! What type of gun do you have to load is it a hand gun or a shot gun?
2. What is the difference between a correctional officer trainee and correctional officer exam. I took the trainee test (computerized walk in Manhatten)

I also took the 2009 test and i am #59 on the list and havent heard anything. To make it easy my friend is in training right now and he took the test in 08.  |

I took the exam exam on 4/4/09 for:
english 25-168 - Rank - 163
spanish 25-169 - Rank #4 .
I had my appointment on 4/26/10 for the medical/agility and background. My psych is on 5/22/10. Good luck to all.

I took the test April 4, 2009 (Spanish) i was 29 on the list May 8th is my one on one psych.. good luck..

Drwater your written psych is 5/22/10 then when your done you get an appointment for one on one.. I was probably there with you on 4/26 lol Looks like the spanish list got called first from the 09 exam.. there was only 130 that passed.. like 20 are woman..

nyemtyankett.. looks like you walked into NYC corrections exam.. you wont be in for a few years.. the freeze is on.. i was scheduled for februarys class and was postponed till November.. i took the exam in 07.. now i was told a different story... i wont bother no more.
