Darien Lake is the only one I can think of, but you cannot see it from the 90. There is Lancaster speedway and another smaller sledding park if thats what your thinking of? You can see both of those from the 90.

Definitely not Roseland, that's way more than 45 minutes from Buffalo. Six-Flags darien lake (or whatever its called now) is the only park coming to my mind as well. Do you remember any of the attractions at the park you are thinking of?

The only other amusement park around near an expressway that I can think of is Fantasy Island on Grand Island, but that is on the 190 North of Buffalo and much less than 45 minutes away

I live in Buffalo. Darien Lake is 45 minutes away from Buffalo....the only other amusement park would be Fantasy Island, but like rochacha said, that's on Grand Island. I don't think there's any other amusement parks in the area...

If you can see the roller coaster from the road then that's the one. I'm going to Buffalo in a couple of weeks, so i'll let you guys know.

The only speedway your going to see between Rochester and Buffalo on 90 is Lancaster Speedway. There are no rollercoasters visible from the thruway during this stretch. Maybe you are thinking of Polar Wave snow tubing and Area 51 near Batavia. But if you did see a large red roller coaster then that was the Superman at Darien Lake and you certainly were not on the thruway at the same time.
