Apartments/Rentals in Kingston, Rhinebeck, and Surrounding Areas. (Ridge, Hurley: condo, live)

Hi All,

I'm a single 27 year old male getting ready to take a professorship at SUNY-Ulster in Stone Ridge, NY. I've been looking over apartments in and around Kingston, NY, and, well, it's been really difficult for me to gauge which places are better than others - the few that have online reviews, all have bad reviews (regardless of price... anywhere from $650-$1500 for a 1 bedroom).

I live a fairly quiet life, and would appreciate an apartment community that stays pretty quiet at night. I'm able to spend close to $1000.00 a month for a 1 bedroom, but want to make the right choice. Anything that's around 20 minutes or less away from SUNY-Ulster would be great.

Oh, and I have 2 cats.

Hi Nick I would suggest you try Stony Run Apartments they are on Hurley Av. in Kingston about 15 min. from Suny Ulster It is an older complex but seems well kept and quiet. There is a Condo complex across the street that may have rentals. You might want to contact one of the larger Real Esate companies for info. Good Luck, Zack
