Lightbulb am i the only one

am i the only one who wants Ithaca, NY to expand?

since i play sports i have never liked Dryden or Lansing but i have always wanted them and Ithaca to just conjoin into one big city maybe cuz i luv the way ithaca iz but i want the big city life. also then there would be more adversity in the community instead of Ithaca=LIBERALand Dryden=CONSERVATIVE, also more room to expand, but still keep alot of wild life and forests we could call it: Ithlanden.... ok that sounds stupid. or we could just keep the name Ithaca or The Area could be called Ithaca and the two little towns could just be like parts of Ithaca kind of like Brooklynn and the Bronx all though this would be nothing like that.... i know im gonna get attacked for this by ppl that like Ithaca just the way it iz but go easy on me im just a kid.

I remember when I went to school in Ithaca, many people were very upset about the potential for a Walmart and a Starbucks! Starbucks won. I think Walmart lost.

ya..you dont live in ithaca, or the surrounding cities looking for a big town feel. like i said, you want that, move out of ithaca..there are plenty of big cities, some within a couple hours drive (syracuse, rochester, buffalo, etc). why would you bring that in? ithaca wouldnt be ithaca (and the surrounding areas), meaning beautiful, lush and green and laid back, if it had a larger, more city like population. People move here to slow down, not to speed up.

and i think you meant diversity, not adversity

this is wut i dont need. listen bub im 13 have alwayz wanted to live in a big city. but im not talkin bout makin ithaca the new york city of the fingerlakes im talkin bout just expandin the boarders slowly. damn. u aint gotta go all out on me. i thought most ppl in ithaca believed in freedom opion but if u gonna be like dat. i done know. maybe i should go off on somebody if everybodys doin it.

and for u CBaillo

ithaca can become a bigger city without speeding up. why ppl were so upset to think that ithaca would have a starbucks here makes me kinda confused. why. i know why walmart but whats the matter with starbucks. the only other place that makes coffee is gimme! i think ppl in ithaca dont want any change for ithaca. wich is improbable because there is always gonna be change. also i heard that walmart is gonna tare down there buildin and make a superwalmart wich i know is gonna be huge news and many protests. so many ppl didnt want itaca to have a walmart but yet so many ppl in ithaca shop there now sometimes it astonishes me. if u wanted walmart out so bad then dont shop there! boycott it. get enouh ppl to not shop there and keep growin and make it so they dodnt have enough costumers. ppl in ithaca are too stubborn, thats one of the things that i love about ithaca, but thats also one of the things i hate. if ithaca doesnt wanna ge bigger then u might as well let the hippies become mayor. cause there stuck in the past. why shouldnt all of ithaca be stuck in the past. hell lets just sit back and let the world grow while we stay the same. see how that works out. also lets not let anyone else come in to ithaca just keep it all the same. its all a bunch of BULL****!
