The mobile park I live in on Long Island has been sold and my son (7) and I need to relocate. Thought about staying on LI, but cannot afford it. Anyone know anything about the Glen Spey, NY area? Any info you have is greatly appreciated. Thanks

we need more info. How much do you have to spend? Are you looking to buy a home, condo, co-op or rent? Can you get a mortgage?

Problem: Could get a mortgage/buy a home, but currently own a single wide mobile home worth over 100k. Would love to find land to put it on. Can afford to move it to the Glen Spey area, but am concerned that my son would be labeled due to the misconception about "trailers" (I am a well-educated Pre-School Special Education teacher).

Amenia has 2 private schools for developmentally disabled----Maplebrook and Kildonan. Many staff are provided housing too. Son could attend local elementary school. All within 3-5 miles of each other.
