Default How long until New York melts down?

When does the money run out? What sort of chaos will ensue after it does? Discuss.

I am quite confused, Brew
NY melt down...hmmm.
It looks like every second thread on the forums is about a catastrophe/ armageddon/ the end of US/ end of western civilization/ the mayan calendar/ california/ etc. etc.
Is obsessing about the end of the world the latest national sport? Discuss.

I think he is referring to the current stagnant New York State Senate. What a mess, even for Albany!

If California goes into the tank-NY will be right behind them. As for our Senators-throw the bums out! They were acting childish and unprofessional and none of them should be re-elected. NYS has added nothing but taxes upon taxes lately. And still we are in the hole. Heaven help us all if the state tanks.

I just used window soap on my van to write my feelings of disgust with the senate. The rain gave it a nice wash.
That's OK - I have a lot of soap - I'll put it back on. The few hours it was on, I got a lot of honks in agreement.
Shame on those immature jerks. I want my money's worth from that ridiculous outfit!!

Upstate NY would best invest its resources in new industries. Clean energy (wind), organic produce, wines, cheeses, other foods, tourism, biotech (with the fine universities). The manufacturing days are gone...unfortunately that made much of upstates fortunes. They CANNOT keep relying on state money to fund their economies. That is clearly drying up.
