Exactly the type of jobs we want too. High tech, high paying jobs. AMD broke ground a number of years ago, it is great to see that they are expanding even during the recession.

This doesn't surprise me.
Albany was designated as the nanotechnology and computer research area within the Empire State Centers of Excellence initiative. Syracuse was designated as the environmental and green center probably because of the Environmental College.
