Question Knowledge of Special Needs Services in Central NY area..

Ok..I have made a few silly posts.. now I need to get down to business. i am 45 and have a 6 yr old lil girl with Down syndrome.

I DO NOT like NC.. been here 7 yrs. I have lived in 9 states since I was 22. I am ready to chill out from all the moving.

Would like to make one more GOOD move and as this is my only baby..She MUST come first.
Anyone know how the Services/special ed/safe tree lined streets to live and raise an Angel?
Thank ahead..

Hi and thanks for the links!

I basically want the around the rome/utica area.. I dont care if they are small towns..Ive already lived in huge cities like Chicago and Vegas and the Keys had all my fun....

I dont need a night life anymore......lol.. i was on a 25 yr road trip...Im done..haha

I just want a neighboorhood... with blocks and sidewalks... I dont care for acreage...i just want a lil 2-3 bedroom house preferably fenced as my daughter is unaware of danger. Where I can get to know the neighbosrs and walk around the block with my lil girl.. ..
Ozzie & Harriet.. ya know ..
I am a CNA and have a car so I dont need public trans. I just need a Mall and a walmart and a supermarket..

In other words..ive become a momma and need a safe area...

PS...Oh and Im just wanting to rent for now...Im still in NC.. need to get moved and settled before i think about buying...

Thanks
