Very nice pictures NJM!

If you like taking pictures of wildlife, I believe the Upper Delaware River is home to a number of eagles during the winter. Maybe someone has more information.

It seems the eagle population is coming back and growing nicely. There are eagle here in central jersey. I have seen them at the swimming river reservoir and I think they are at the manasquan reservoir.

I do like taking wildlife and other pics but I don't go out with anything planned or a mission. We were actually just taking the route to our place after stopping in Windham. I knew if I turned left toward 30 that we would pass over the stream and I just wanted to see that route and there they were. It was a rainy day and I spotted the white in the tree. My wife does not believe I actually look at the road at all when I drive because I see different things everywhere.

That's one of the benefits of winter and no leaves on trees, you can easily spot large birds because the silhouette breaks the flow of the branch.

I also like macro shots and will just walk around my yard and take pics of flowers and insects.

It's can be remarkable what you see if you just take the time to look.
