Books on yankees moving to & dating in the south? (transplants, transit)

I am a bit of a newcomer here and to the south from NY, and was wondering if there are any books ya'll can recommend to help me transition and understand culture/opposite sex here in the south!

Keep in mind that nowadays, especially in the cities, NC has more "Yankee transplants" than you think and is a lot less "southern" than it once was.

Depending on where you are in NC, you could find you haven't "moved" at all. However, keep in mind that things progress VERY slowly down here. Like...there's 3 speeds...slow, slower, and reverse.

If you're like me, you'll wind up finding someone from your "home" area (found someone from PA and I'm from NY) after you realize the culture is quite opposite of what you're accustomed to. We just naturally gravitated to each other, being of the same culture. Well, that, and most of the southern men I met were either seriously obnoxious or smoked. Or both.
