I have the opportunity to purchase an extremely small investment home at a very reasonable price. It's description reads "area location - Mt. Hope Town" but the actual address reads "Howells, NY 10932."
The school district is Minisink Valley. The home was built in 1955, and has a septic system; propane heat; well water. The taxes are very low.
I did a search here for "Howells" and came up empty except for some mentions about Thurston Howell III and a town in Texas.
Can anyone offer me some input about the area?
