We are thinking about moving to Carmel, NY and found a condo in the Fox Run Condominium complext for sale. Can anyone provide pros/cons of this community? Monthly charges seem a little high and on the rise and there is graffiti on the building at the entrance. However, the proximity to highways and Metro North are major pros. Anyone a current or former resident that can comment?
As a former realtor in this area, I can tell you that Fox Run is considered to be on the lower end of spectrum when it comes to condos. The price is right because the complex is old and not visually pleasing. The pool area leaves and grounds leave much to be desired. The dues are probably high because they resided the building (or painted I really don't know) and have been trying to do some upgrades. It has gotten a lot nicer in the past 5 years or so but it doesn't measure up to places like Hunters Glen, Kings Grant, or even Woodland Trails.
since you were a Realtor in the area could you tell me if Saint Micheal's terrace (this is the name of the road)in Carmel is a nice area? Also is radon common in the homes in Carmel We have been looking in Dutchess and see this common up there? Thank you
