There's a Yankee/Mets fan thread and, well, being a Buffalo Bills football fan I have to ask:
Is there some geographical prejudice among Giants and Jets fans?
I don't think so. In the Syracuse area, it seems like the younger fans(around 40 and younger), tend to mostly be Bills fans and the older fans tend to be Giants fans, with some Jets, Eagles and Steelers, among others, thrown in there. You do have people that like the Bills in terms of the AFC team and the giants in terms of the NFC too.
In the Rochester/Buffalo area it is overwhelming for Buffalo but besides that there are a much lesser fan base but almost equal for the Giants, Jets, Steelers, and Cowboys. On long island I see the giants with an edge.
Westchter and Jersey overwhelmingly Giants. Long Island used to be a Jets bastion but that may change as Jets have moved their HQ and training out of LI and they ahven;t played in Queens since 1983....

Even though they (Jets) were at Hofstra, the Giants still had a larger fan base on long island.
There is only one football team in the state of New York! Buffalo Bills!
Ya' got that right!
