Who cares if its ugly. If someone wants to own one that's their business. There are plenty big ugly pickup trucks on the road as well, and the entire GM and Chrysler line. But yeah 198 sold in a month, sad.
What, exactly, is it about the Cube and the Juke that you find unsatisfactory, besides their name and their styling and the fact that they are targeted to a market demographic that doesn't include you?

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't find the Juke/Cube (or the Accord/Civic/Camry/Corolla and most Lexus vehicles for that matter) particularly attractive but I have no issue with others owning one and my brain doesn't struggle with the idea that others may like something that I don't. This forum is full of narrow minded individuals and unfortunately many of them are far too dumb to realize it.
Ilike ugly cars. Becuase they are unpopular, they are unique. Some of my favorites are the VW Thing, the Aztec and the Allard. However I find the Cube stupid looking, not ugly. I suaully end up wanted the really ugly cars that come out because I get a kick out of them. The Cube? Eh not so much. It looks like a high school art design project where they focus entirely on being different at all costs. I am amazed that anyone looked at the model fo rhte Cube and said "Hey there is a good idea, lets start making those!" But then I have heard that people who dropped acid in the 1960s can have flashbacks where it is just like they took the acid this morning.

The Cube came out in response to great sales for the Scion XB which was very popular with the older teens/younger 20s. Unfortunately for Nissan, that
popularity vanished as the buyers got older, and the younger people coming up have been far less interested in cars, preferring to spend their time texting. The Kia Soul is actually appealing to older people with it's more traditional look, having a top sloping to the rear. And a low price.
Hey I love my cube, it gets around 30 mpg in town.A lot more roomier than you might think!
