PASS on the Atlima.
It may run and drive well but it really has no value to anyone other than the current owner.
If it was given to you , as in free, you will still have several hundred bucks in tag, title, insurance, etc..
For $2500 bucks you can find something with less than half of those miles.

My aunt has an '01 Altima SE with like 140K miles... already needs a new engine. She bought it brand new, but it did not receive the best maintenance... in fact, she never maintained it. lol.

The altima is superior to the Tarus, E
Scort and neon, but at 260k it could die any day.
Escorts were horrible.
