None of what I brought up should be an issue for someone wanting a streetcar, but like I said, I and others WANTED to like it right off the bat and we were sorely disappointed. We'll see if they can work some magic with them.
Interesting, the 2013 were updated compared to the 2010-2012 cars with different styling, engines and computer programming so its possible that there are some issues I'm not aware of but the 2010-2012 cars seem to do well at tracks and their drivers enjoy driving them hard. Of course down the line most of these guys installed aftermarket coilovers, etc so its hard to tell how it would compare to stock.

The Z has always been a 6... I'd rather see it stay that way.

If they want a four/turbo four sports car, well, everyone misses the Sylvia/240SX, and the FR-S needs a competitor...

4 years after this post and still no word on the next generation Z lol. Nissan is continuing 2018 year with the 370z. It's the longest run of a Z car ever.

I thought they were going with the 3.0TT available in the new Q60. Infiniti got to bring their car out first and the Z will follow. But they will probably also do a cheaper 200Z as well with the turbo4

I've read in several online articles that Nissan is supposed to unveil their new Z concept at the Tokyo Auto Show this fall. That means the car is unlikely to be on sale until MY2020 at the earliest. To be honest, I'd rather see them continue with the current 370Z than a turbo'd 4cyl in that horrible C&D concept rendering.

I know, old post, but a good history lesson. Here we are in 2018 and there have been basically no changes to the 370Z. Good luck future thinking the next 5 years.
