and there is the core of the towing problem right there. If she had a manual Sentra she might have better luck towing a small trailer. The blue smoke coming out of the Altima in an earlier post could have been a CVT frying itself to death.

I gave up on all Nissan products with CVTs. I had several cars with CVTs and just never got used to have they operate. I wish Nissan would dump the whole CVT thing and build a nice shiftable automatic.
