Yesterday she picked up her rental while her car is repaired from being rear ended. Her car is a 2007 Chrysler Sebring Touring with 2.4L engine and 4 speed auto. Though only 9 more horsepower than her Sebring, she finds the Altima much faster. She finds it also feels smoother on our bumpy roads. She has only two complaints. First is the car seat is so wide it feels like itís touching the door and second is the car height is lower than her Sebring. This is a problem for her because of her spine and the arthritis in both knees. My only complaint is the New Jersey license plates.

This seems like a good experience. Sometimes a car will feel comfortable on a short test drive but when you've had to drive it longer you realize it isn't a good fit.

For future car purchases this seems like one she can cross off her list.

A drivers seat too wide? Just the opposite here. The wider the better. In fact find most new car seats too thin/small.

Arthritis. Have my deepest sympathies.

I have always liked how Nissans drive. I like the driving position and the pedal feel.

She told me about a noise and a low tire pressure alarm. Rear driver’s side tire was 21 psi when it should be 33 psi. Rear tires are Continental brand. Front tires are ultra cheap Primewell, a Chinese discount brand sold at Bridgestone/Firestone dealers. After inflating the tires I took it for a test drive. The noise sounds like horrible tire road noise

Its a rental the rental company put cheap tires on it that car has probly been beat to hell, people who rent a car are not as easy on them them as they would their own vehicle.Ive seen rentals with low millage with dents and cigarette holes in the seats and rattles because people ride them hard because its not their vehicle and could care less how hard they drive them.

Rental companies donít usually put tires on them, they normally go to auction before they get that bad.
