My 115 hp cavalier was a lot faster than that (clocked 0-60 at like 12 seconds lol), and the sentra is faster yet. "fast" is being used as a relative term here.

Maybe you had a turbo on your escort
Umn, no. I drive a 1991 Ford Escort Pony with a 5 speed manual. It is way lighter than a normal Escort, has no power robbing air conditioning, power steering, sound deadening materials, etc. Not only that, I have stripped out all of the interior, removed all extra weight including the spare and jack, put on headers, cold air intake, and open cherry bomb exhaust. Still it is slow, but as in 8.8 seconds from 0-60, and 16.8 mph at 85mph in the quarter mile. I have a g timer, and can consistently run that. Bring your brand new Sentra, and I will race you for pink slips. I have raced two of them already trying to beat me out in the suicide lane trying to get on the freeway. They both lost. What is really sad is, they lost to this...

That really is not fair as the Sentra Spec V is 200 horsepower, while the Dodge is 390 horsepower.

I do not enjoy Versus threads. Different strokes for different folks. Why I responded is beyond me.
