Do you look at people and detest them?
If so, why? What determines superiority or inferiority? Can anybody state who is better or worse?

Yes. Incidentally, it often happens with newcomers on forums and particularly with "newcomers"!

Agreed. Especially those who post numerous vague single sentence questions, and don't reply in their posts.

Is it psychologically valid (,i.e. research to back it up)? Can you cite the converse and say how you are more superior?

I don't tend to approach strangers in that way--I mean I don't size them up and try to figure out who is "superior." Maybe I'm weird that way or maybe I'm wired that way, but I try to find common ground with them and find out if they have a heart. If they don't have much of a heart, I don't detest them--I feel sorry for them but avoid them b/c those are the kind of people who will most likely try to hurt me.

I don't think the OP is a newcomer.

ha! You all need to slap to keep your egos in check.
And note, you did not answer, reference my points on the absolute validity of your judgments. Again, if you're too dim to answer, what is better? Who defines it?
