Is it wierd to get a friend request from someone who doesn't like you on facebook? (person, sister)

Last time I checked, people used to refrain from adding people they dislike on facebook.

I have a girl in school that doesn't like me at all. Well, that girl sent me a friend request on facebook a few days ago.

I accepted the friend request but don't think I should confront her in school about it.

So is this wierd or no?

She's probably trying to find some dirt on you or to keep tabs on your. People post all kinds of personal things on FB. Is your page private?

Yes it's weird. She's trying to find out about you through Facebook. Block her!

Some people just want a big friend list and will friend request anyone. Delete her if you don't like each other.

That's actually quite common, 2 people who don't like each other much yet they are "friends" on facebook. I don't have facebook and never will, it cheapens the definition of friendship. So what if you have 1000 facebook friends, how many of them will be there for you when you're down and out? Probably less than 10.
