Why do people Sleep in the nude? (roommate, husband, member)

I sleep nude but i will admit i almost stopped when i was in college. I had a final at 8am and studied til midnight but around 3am i hear these birds chirping next to my bedroom window. So, i stumble out of bed and grab a hand full of ice cubes ( i know dont ask) go charging out the patio door, throw the handful of ice cubes at the dang birds in the tree, turn around to go back in and heard clapping and cheering from my next door neighbors who were all female. I crawled back into my bed and told myself i must be dreaming...

usually cause i'm hot
but i normally just sleep pantless,can't do without panties, i have big fear a spider is going to crawl in and...well do i need to say more?
Um....that....but ants....
I sleep in pj's to keep things covered and safe...plus I tend to get warm and this way I can kick off the covers.
Question for people whom sleep in the nude why do it?
Besides the obvious: after sex
But otherwise I want clothes on.

I don't like wearing clothes when I'm awake, even though (obviously) frequently it is required. I damn sure ain't wearing them when I'm sleeping, and generally speaking, it ain't.

I've tried it a few times - I never managed to actually get to sleep, apart from maybe at five minute stretches. It is kind of both comfortable and uncomfortable in a way. Sometimes I can be easily aroused by my nakedness so sleeping is the last thing on my mind. If in a relationship I can see it taking me awhile to get used to it.
