Sweet axe....... let lionking take a gander at that bad boy......
Yeah, I redid all the electronics and wiring myself.
2 x 2 meg potentiometers - Strats usually use a 250k, this is bascially a 2000k!! Thing runs wide open.
1 x midrange cut/boost switch - with the mids boosted, you get a nice old 50's sorta sound, good for surf or rockabilly. With it cut, you get some pretty nasty metal snarl.
DiMarzio Fast Track 1 in the bridge; Fender Tex Mex's in the neck and mid. Interesting combo, lets you get a huge range of sounds. All point-to-point soldered from the ground up by yours truly
Manly is not defined by what you eat or how tough you appear. Most men are Metrosexual so their really isn't much room for debating who's more MAN; Guy A: with low rise skinny jeans and well manicured hair\nails or Guy B: veggie head.
I belive we are in a culture full of more dudes and less Men.
I don't care if others think I am not manly for going shopping with my girl and I am not talking about sitting in the car waiting for her to hurry up and then drive back all quiet with a poker face. I am talking about walking with her in the mall, seeing her try stuff and comment, look for the accesories together that will match whatever she bought, etc. I don't care if others think I am not manly for crying during a touching moment in a movie or if I comb my relative's little girl's hair and get her ready for a day out or if I wear something that has pink, etc. My girl doesn't care if she's not seen as "girile" for doing things women normally wouldn't do for a man but that would be for another thread.
I've never cared what others think about me male or female Other then the few extra pounds I'm trying to work off I feel good about myself. I've never been a fan of mainstream sports or will I be. I like who I am & in the end that's all that really matters.
That dude looks seriously gay, not that there's anything wrong with that.
Yeah, look at all the billboards for fashion in Milan and Paris, and all those pretty boys have those pouted lips like they've been stung by a bee. Talk about stereotyping, but it IS what you see.
The only time I "care" if other men think I'm "manly" is when me and some other guy are on the verge of fighting. It's not that I care about looking manly in and of itself, of course, but it could prevent a tussle. While I can definitely hold my own, I don't like fighting at all. So I'd rather avoid it at almost any cost.
As far as what I think another man should do...
Be responsible (This includes being prepared to protect yourself and others, but no more than a woman should be prepared to do) and do/stand up for what's right. Nothing else really matters.
