I'd take a long vacation with my family. It's been a rough year!

After, I would definitely try to be a blessing to others by helping them, giving them funds to go forward, and volunteering at activities that are useful.

Too many people spend the time they have in negative activities. We have this old guy near us who must be retired. He has many political signs in his yard and constantly seems to be ranting about something. Instead of this, why doesn't he go out and make the world a better place?

As for volunteering, you can do it, even without funds. A few hours a week will be a help to someone.

I'd love to help rescue dogs/cats.

I'd write. And write some more. And I'd cook. And eat.

I would DEFINITELY take my volunteer work to a "whole 'nutha level".

This type of behavior is epidemic amongst today's retirees!!

I'd buy a huge sailboat and spend a few years or maybe more circling the globe. Then when I got back I'd probably buy a big house up in the mountains somewhere and dream up my next adventure.

Can't say I wouldn't do work, but I probably wouldn't work for a paycheck anymore. I am just not the kind of guy to lay around and not lift a hand. It bores me.

I wouldn't move, but would do all the stuff to the house and yard I want. I'd buy the empty lot next door and make it a play area and underneath a large enough shelter for the neighborhood, with cages for pets. I'd build a private animal shelter with free spay and neuter for the town and a no kill policy.

I'd put in and enclosed outdoor play area for my cats, with a kitty door back inside. My personal yard space would have a nice solid tall wood fence for privacy.

I'd get a car. I have a ride when I need one but it would be cool to have some way to just take off by myself.

I'd start going to science fiction conventions again. Fandom is really where I live. I miss it.

I'd do more traveling with a trusted pet sitter at home.

But the good thing is, if none of this happens, I'm still pretty okay with life.
