Can't believe somebody started this thread up again after two years. Anyway, if I feel like I need to cry, I could care less who is around. Men, women, kids, my dog, I don't care! I've done it several times before and will probably do it several more times in my life without thinking about it. Nothing "gay" about it, Tcoma

I mediate such choices on what feels right for me at the time - not who may or may not be watching at the time.

I've cried at funerals where obviously other men were present.

I've made my husband cry. Worst feeling ever. We don't have those fights anymore though, thank God.

I guess I wouldn't refrain from it (or even try to refrain), but it's not very likely that I would cry in front of other men. I do most of my crying at movies, and I rarely watch movies with other guys. I mean, that wouldn't be manly!

The other venue in which I'm most likely to cry is at funerals, and I wouldn't have any problems crying in front of other men at a funeral. I feel sorry for people who are so afraid they might seem gay, they won't let themselves experience a very natural and healthy human emotion.

Yes.

I am an individiual I do not give two cruds what anyone else thinks about my mannerisms. I will respect others but I am not going to live my life worrying about what others think.

I used to cry constantly when I was younger but now I literally cry maybe every few months (when stressed).
Its weird because I thought I would have to pretend not to cry when older but in actual fact I actually can't cry unless I really TRY.
