FWIW.
HA!!!!! Love it!

If you can find a few true friends you are lucky indeed. Pursue your unique path of happiness and ignore all others.

I am truly happy and I have to try to not let them bring me down. Thanks!

I am glad to put a smile on your face . Keep doing what you're doing and its an AWESOME thing that you and your mom do almost everything together. Some might not admit it and some probably truly don't care but many people would LOVE to have that bond you and your mother share. Heck, I wish I was that close to my mother!

I could understand if you were being a detriment to yourself, a drug addict or something but you're a very productive member of society! They should be proud of you! But maybe they are secretly jealous. Again, keep doing what you're doing, nothing is wrong with you at all.

We introverts are extremely misunderstood!

By the way, I love cats too!

You're right about the bond between me and my mother. I am so proud to be able to share so many things with her.

Thanks again for the kind advice! I'll definitely remember it when people are being so negative!

That is great that you are so close to your Mom. It is one of the strongest and most beautiful
relationships in our life's journey.
Also, there is nothing at all wrong with you, I am just like you in a lot of ways.
I have always just had a couple friends, but then again I am a bit of an introvert and loner at times,
but I am happy, this is just how I am meant to be, and nothing to be ashamed of. Same with you.
Also, if you are working and going to school, you have very little time - you have your priorities straight!

It does sound like we are similar! I feel much better knowing I'm not the only one who prefers a few friends as opposed to many!

You're right...as long as one is happy, that's all that matters

They say I should be hanging out more with people my age instead of my mother.
And when & if you took their advice & began dating, they would then turn around and chastise you for "neglecting your mother."

Opinions are like...........yeah.

The real question is, how much attention should you pay to the ever-present "theys" of this world?
