I have not seen one of my female friends in a while and would like to write a letter to her. As a guy, when we were together, all our peers mistook us as boyfriend and girlfriend (we were not.) It is now 6 months since I last saw her.

I will deliver it through my other friend (who is a guy), and was one of our classmates.

To authenticate me as the writer of the letter, I will handwrite it. Would it be a good idea to include a picture of myself, or would others mistake it as romantic? My friend is fine around me but not when others believe her to be my girlfriend.

I think sending a picture of yourself is totally fine. Who cares if other's mistake it as romantic? How would they find out about the picture, unless she posts about it on FB.

what's wrong with you? Just write the letter and send it to her yourself. Why all the mystery?

What is the point of the letter anyway? Can't you just call and have a conversation with your friend?
