Do you miss hanging with your old high school friends and acquaintances, or you just try to forget that they ever existed since graduating from high school?

I don't miss them; I don't think about them.

My 20 year reunion is this fall...I will probably skip it. I am friends with a lot of them on FB so I already know who's fat, who's bald, and who's gay.

Nope.

I was pretty much a loner from about middle school on, and never got into any scenes, or had really any friends.

I did look up an old crush I had with a girl in middle school a couple of years ago. Turns out right after she entered high school, she got pregnant, and spiraled into the drug scene, drop out of high school, only to go to a city-level community college at the age of 32, "earn" a degree in advertising, made one commercial for the city college, moved a bunch of times, and is living with her new husband and spends her time watching her grandkids.

I miss some of my old high school friends. I know my generation is all over Facebook, but I can't stand that site and I haven't logged on in almost two years. Sometimes at work I meet new people who remind me of the type of people my friends were--sometimes I become their friends but usually not.

Nah. I miss the simplicity of the friendships back then, though: Lunch in the cafeteria, going to games and dances, chit-chat phone calls, parties, and playing cards in senior lounge.

Not really.

Sometimes I think of my high school best friend and wonder how things are with her but no one else. After graduation, we all went our seperate ways. Good riddance to a lot of them.

Same here. I am still friends with just one of my high school peers but nobody else.

At times I miss how we hung out back then but I realize that it would never be the same today. That is the same for my college friends as well.

A few. But I'm glad to be away from most of them and high school.

That's a rather black and white approach. I am actually still in touch with a few of my high school friends so no, I don't really miss them. Those I'm not still in touch with I don't really miss but neither do I try to forget they ever existed. Friends will come and go - it's a natural part of life as you grow and go in different directions. It doesn't mean I have to pretend they never existed, it just means they are a part of my past, a part I can still look back on fondly.
