I used to think it was easier to make friends when my kids were young. But if I reflect on my closest friends, only one is a direct result of my kids. We've moved numerous times, so I think it has caused to me adapt to reaching out to potential friends.

It is important to keep up with others if you want to maintain friendships. I still keep in touch with grade school friends, and old work buddies too. I'm not terribly shy, and that helps.

According to officials, after 22 years old, it becomes 2.6% harder/year to make new friends.

I use to think it was harder as I got older until I started trying new and different ways to build my social circle. It's actually easier and the quality of women that I've been able to date has increased multiple times over.
