If I really won, being in my sixties, my wife and I don't have the energy or health to spend all that money the same way someone young could. So maybe I should:
Finally give lots of money to my sister, who is in an out of homeless shelters because she does not want to work.
Give a guaranteed income to my much younger brothers, who all work in low wage unskilled labor jobs, and have been broke since they moved out of the house since they were 18.
Support some of my friends who would cut me off if I did not give them a lot of the money.
I would be rich, rich rich, don't they deserve a significant amount of the money because of their connection to me?

And how soon before all these people are broke again because they blew all the money on dumb stuff? Might as well just flush your hypothetical check down the toilet.
I can only begin to imagine how many thousands of new threads you'd come up with if you really did win so much money. All those dreadful people in your life who you despise so much and look down upon for all their shortcomings would finally have to kowtow to you - wouldn't that be just LUVERLY! Gracious, with that much money you could just tell all of them to their faces (and past employers too) how distasteful you find them as you sit in your gilded La Z Boy languidly tossing out banknotes to them as they obsequiously wipe your feet ...
I would give my sisters a credit card with the bills coming to me. If they each spent a quarter million a year it would be fine. If one bought a yacht I would cancel their card.
I would not give money because of who may get it after they die. Anything they needed and most of what they wanted I would be happy to pay for. They are not poor so I don't think they would go nuts.
I would enjoy the money. I would give away most of it. That would still leave many millions for me.
Yes, and you can buy a big house to host them all at Thanksgiving, and then buy smart phones for all of them at Christmas!!!
^ ^ ^ Brilliant!
