I had two living grandparents - I called them Grandma and Grandpa.

My daughters called my parents Nana and Pop Pop.

They called DH's parents Grandma and Grandpa.

Now, DH and I are "Nanny" and "Pappy" to our grandson (but he can't talk yet).

My maternal grandmother, who lived with us, was always nana. My maternal grandfather died when my mom was a kid, so I don't know what I would have called him. I called my paternal grandparents grandma and grandpa.

My paternal grandmother was Gram, and my maternal grandfather was Grandpa. The other grandparents died before I was born. My kids call my parents Nanny and Pop-pop, both of which were chosen by their older cousins. My DH's parents were Grandpa, and Grandma first name, since there was both a bio grandparent, and a step grandparent in the picture.

My paternal grandparents are Granmè(rhymes with heir without the r sound) and Papi(insert first name). My maternal Grandmother was Gran(rhymes with run), my maternal grandfather passed away when all his children were teenagers so my cousins and I never had the pleasure to give him a name. We would probably call him Grandpapa.

Smile Calling grandparents...

Paternal and Maternal: Just Grandpa and Grandma

As for us, none yet.

(Off topic a bit but my children both called me Mommy until high school. Then, my daughter decided she would call me by my first name. Both of them switched to Mother shortly after).
