What does this have to do with "posting about your wife/marriage behind her back" on a message board? No one, as least "myself" has said anything about asking for advice and not taking it. *I* certainly didn't comment about that.
As usual, people only seeing what they want to see.
Now, if someone knows Irish, or ANYBODY for that matter, then NO ONE should be posting here. Might as well take down the board.
You compared Mattie to Irish. I was just pointing out that their situations and threads are not the same in any way.
Weather permitting( it's really cold here for almost May) I'd like to go on a picnic, if not, sharing wine on a blanket is my plan B.
None of this romance is going to help your situation unless it is combined with some real problem solving like both of you admitting that you live in the past, figuring out why, and getting over it, and looking toward the future on the same page.

Reason: typo
I have refrained from posting in this thread because nothing has really changed from Irish's previous threads. Wife is still the same spoiled brat she always was and Irish is still catering to her childish whims.
It seems this thread has jumped the shark. The original topic was about the wife hating the son's girlfriend and it seems the thread has definitely veered off topic from that. Maybe it's time to close this thread.
we've been spending a lot of good quality time together and really talking and listening.
Nice that you are both working at it....she still hates the GF though I gather?
