I am in - as soon as the father carries and aborts the fetus. A second quick decision versus nine months and 21 years?

If a man cant tell a woman to have or not have a baby then he shouldn't be legally responsible. Is that so hard to understand?

The problem with that is it would allow men to get women pregnant, say, "I don't want the kid," and just walk away, sticking the mother--and often, the taxpayers--with all the bills. Sorry, but I don't want to pay for your kids just because you refuse to wear a condom.

Would you be curious about the child as the years go by or would you be indifferent to the child's existence? Do you think your feelings would change as you got older? Would you have any regrets?

BTW - I am not pregnant and my dad is very close to me. I am asking because my brother got a woman pregnant several years back and has no contact with the child whatsoever. The child is completely irrelevant in his life. I am just wondering what men's thought processes are in these situations.
I think I would always be curious. I was with a LOT of women from the time I was 18-21 (several dozen), and while I've never had someone come after me with that accusation, it's crossed my mind from time to time if I have a kid out there I don't know of.

I could do without the kid now, but as I got older, I think I'd resent it more.

Actually, from a pro-choice perspective, it appears to be morally justifiable to do what this man did in at least certain cases.

There's no need to shame people here without knowing all of the details of what occurred.

Would you resent that the child exists or that the mother didn't tell you? Also what would change as you got older?
