Wow, I missed that nugget of info.

Really what this thread is about is the duty of the guest to the host.

I mean, if one has been invited somewhere nice, then anything less than absolute gratitude is the mark of someone who has been raised by wolves.

A thank-you note, a present for the host, or treating them to dinner on the town are the gestures that civilized people perform. Pulling a switcheroo on the TP in the bathrooms is not one of them.

My philosophy happens to be to each his own, with the addition of William Shakespeare's words: To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.
That you unashamedly snooped in your host's bathroom suggests you wouldn't be above snooping in your own guest's bags.

I suspect the OP was bored and started this thread hoping for reactions which he/she has in fact received.

You've made an assumption totally without merit. Walking into my host's bathroom is not at all similar to looking into guest's bags. Something about my post got to you and you don't like it so you accuse me of something I have never done nor would ever do. I would not want you in my home since this is how you think.

Well, given how you behaved in someone else's, I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual.

OP, no one agrees with you. Deal with it and move on. Seriously, it's been a few years and you're still thinking about this.

And by the way, no one is impressed that you would offer your guests great toilet paper. No one cares. Instead, everyone who has read your posts are happy you haven't been a guest in their home.

Whoa. You must have an especially sensitive anus.

Next time, since you need "special", bring your own.
