I'm a french girl (sorry if my english is not really good) and i'm searching for an epistolary relationship with an american person, who would be between 20 and 30
Have you ever tried to have a relationship with someone only by letters ? I had once and i can say it is great, while everything is instantaneous...
You think your English isn't very good while you're using the word "epistolary"? I'd be willing to bet that most native English speakers wouldn't know what it means. LOL
"Epistolary "?? you are french and your English is not good you say I wonder if any Native English speaker would know the meaning other than who did the literature for the masters. How ever yes I did it when I was 15 years old. I had a french guy from Marseille who wrote me every week. And he has send me a photo some ones photo taken from a magazine. we wrote each other quiet long but nothing else. It was sweet romantic letters..he send me few times chocolate boxes and a little Eiffel tower, I think I still have them some where in a box. But that we called pen pal not a "epistolary relationship' But as your post say between 20-30 they might mostly interest in active relationships, but who knows drop an add.
The only place I have heard of this is when you sponsor a child from a developing county through World Vision or another organization. Other than that, I don't think too many people communicate by letters.
i think everyone who posts on Facebook, and City Data forum is in a kind of platonic epistolary relationship.. think about it. .we are communicating with people all over the globe and they feel like they are here in our own world. so we are doing it to some extent already.

To your question though, no I haven't.
Only because I took 2 yrs in Latin and a year of French....I looked at the root...and
knew she meant penpals as we say here.
I had never before seen the word epistolary!!!
Great word!.
Most people don't even know what Paul's Epistle's are...really, haha...letters written to
new Christians of diff towns....
I wanted to start one up with a couple prisoners...but never did.
I am only interested in sharing spiritual experiences and breakthroughs, revelations...plus, I am too old for the
op...way past 30 and 40! And glad of it!
What you need is a time machine!!!!! In other words, this day and age you'd be hard pressed to find a pen pal.
Actually, no.
I have many. If you want one, just Google how to get one.
