I always find myself Googling friends, acquaintances, and others whom I've met for the first time to know more about them. Do you Google people soon after meeting them?
I do a basic check. Too many con artists online to trust people at their word these days.

If someone finds me in a Google search, the most likely result would be an online condolence I send to the family of someone who passed on, no shame in that.
Do I ever Google anyone? Yes, I do, but I keep my findings to myself, because I would be creeped out if someone was too aggressive in pumping me for information about myself, which may or may not mean that they Googled me.

Rarely, if ever.
