Well, not entirely. I had the collar, the cuffs, put on a long blonde wig, and black ears. (since I work in spaces protected by fire fighting systems, I limit my clothing to cotton and leather) Anyhow, I came in doing a cigarette girl routine, my co worker turned away reporting readings, me there staring down at him, thinking he hadn't noticed. When he did turn to face me............ no reaction.

"YOU'RE NO FUN..................", so much for his Halloween spirit.
And if he HAD reacted and made some comment about you being sexy or wanting some action or displaying your wares, you could have filed sexual harassment against him. So your coworker was very smart by not reacting.

You were at WORK. WORKING. Not playing. Dress up time should be for after work. Heck, at the school, only the kindergartners get to wear their costumes to school. The first graders get to put their costumes on only for their class party, and all other grades can only wear black or orange. No costumes allowed. And those are KIDS. You are the adult. Save it for after work.

I love Halloween but I hate dressing up. We have a party tomorrow night and I will not be dressing up.

It is mortifying for me.

Not if you some poor stiff facing a sexual harassment charge in the workplace.

You're screwed, blued and tattooed.

........just I couldn't do the main outfit and the heels........and my ears were black satin.

Anyhow, a few years back, there was a commercial, maybe a SEGA one where at the end of the commercial, the guy is in the elevator in the tutu outfit and his boss in the business suit walks in and says something like, "Lose another bet, hey Johnson?".

And in one of the early "Dixon Hill" episodes on ST:TNG when Picard walks into his "office", his secretary asks something like, "Dix, did you lose another bet? Is that why you are dressed up like a bellman?".

As things go, I saw another worker at my place dressed up as a mad butchering ax murderer and then at the place I was suppose to dive today (but didn't due to a foul up), many of the people there were in costume, from sexy little red riding hoods to pirates.

Later on in the morning, before I left the office, was back in costume, sans the wig. I was afraid that our VP, if he walked by, might not understand my Valkyrie (it's that long) wig so I just did the accessories. So anyone looking in at the Operations Center would see this high backed chair.......and those black satin ears over the top.

............and yes, in this politically correct world, I was worried that someone might take offense to me being a Bunny.......but I did it anyhow!
FYI in future, you should probably skip the highly specific TV plot and commercial references when writing your long, disjointed, self-referential threads. Most people do not watch anywhere NEAR as much TV as you apparently do and so we don't know what you are talking about.

I think the operative word is "did" as in "as you apparently did".............I really haven't watched any TV since the Fall of 2008. Except for Spanish, but that is something of a work requirement.

I just remember what I've seen intensely.

Now as far as the world not knowing the late Carol Wayne, the Matinee Lady of Johnny Carson's "The Tea Time Movie".................................that's like saying "Who's Johnny Carson?".

At any rate, I wasn't the only one who did dress up, but now, Halloween is over and my ears are put away at least until Easter.
