One friend, who is a woman, considered me her best friend even though we'd only talk about 6 times a year and that would only happen usually because she was having guy trouble so she'd call me and want to talk. I saw her 3 days before my family and I moved away and we said our goodbyes then.

I told my wife that while we were driving here, I wasn't going to communicate with anybody in the old city except for my parents, who lived there, and my friend across the street from us.
RED FLAG RED FLAG.

I KNEW right here this story was going to have a surprise. I just didn't know how MUCH of one was ahead.

This.

No, the only logical course of action would be to report him as a Missing Person.

The OP writes like a woman, just sayin'. Men, in my experience, are very A-B storytellers. Women go on and on, very detail oriented.
Anywho, I think the story is a complete fabrication, and the OP needs to seek help.

Also, one of his past 'stories' states he's single:

Ok so I'm a 36 year old man and I recently lost my job when my position was eliminated by corporate. I basically have nothing in my current city to go to and the closest jobs available that I have experience with are farther away than my last job, but also a HUGE pay cut. I was making right at $22/hour and the closest I've seen to it of the other places is $10.35 so I'd be losing over half of my pay. Also, the only things I really do in my current city is bowl and golf. My family is scattered around the country and the only people I have here are a couple of friends and my girlfriend, who I've only been with for 3 months. I also have about $15,000 saved. My monthly bills is cutting into that fairly quickly. A move would also cut into that quickly and I can't even say for sure if I can get a job in the new city.

To move or not to move....want opinions
Nice catch MissTerri

Yes....OP...This seems suspicious. You sure you aren't just researching a term paper or something about stalking?
