Good for you. I wish everyone would rescue and put the puppy mills out of business.

I love this thread!

I used to collect hippos and use some variation of that on the other forum I'm on.

Since c-d's focus is on location (not as much as I thought when registering) and I live in PA, I just put that in front of hippo.

Probably not the best idea as a lot of posters think I'm a male-Pa. If it's not relevant to the post, I just let them go with the assumption.

my user name means nothing, in fact I create a different one for every website, and obscure my true geolocation with an Onion Router.

I never want a situation where I am accused of a crime I did not commit, and some random-ass person who has never met me, does a search and starts reading and repeating everything I ever said out of context. So never use the same forumID twice.

I don't give much thought to anyone's user name. Back when AOL was king, I knew a woman who went by sz6feml. She was at least a size 16.

I chose my name, because I was stubborn girl. I used to adamantly spell cat with a "K" as a child when I was first learning how to spell and read the alphabets.. Through annunciation, although I was told it was spelled with a "C" I used to say "It could also be spelled with a K, too ya know.." I didn't really give much thought to my user name besides that. My auntie would always correct me "No, C" and I'd say "No, K. I like K for Kat. K-A-T, KAT!"
You go, girl! I like it! Fight the powers that be!

Why did you pick your user name?

To me, it reminds me of someone who is stoned, who was born in 1989. "Dazed and Confused" comes to my mind (the movie). Why did you choose that name and what does it mean to you?

This is a great name!

And I feel the same way about the puppy mills - and animals in general!

LOL - I do think of really dirty overalls when I see your name. I admit it. Your name also makes me think I must be communicating with a very hard working, tough, common sense type of person.

Why did you choose this moniker?
