The user names I often choose are sometimes already taken, when I came to CD that was the case so I just picked something easy, the keys were close together and it didn't have any meaning to it whatsoever. I was definitely going for "random".
Mine is also random, deliberately chosen to be ordinary and forgettable, has nothing at all to do with the kind of biscuits you bake or eat. It's a vague and innocuous reference to the racehorse Seabiscuit. Most importantly, it's a common name in social media, which suits my need for anonymity.
I chose mine because I felt like I was defecting when I was leaving my home state. I'd grown up there, and I'm pretty much Jersey to the bone in my tastes, preferences and outlook. I loved my home state, but it just wasn't a good place for me to be if I was going to become the person I had always wanted to be.
Without the crutch of my incredibly close circle of friends and the chaos caused by my family, I've become a different person. I miss my friends and many of my relatives, but I'm a stronger and more independent person for putting myself at a distance from them.
Knowing the user name I have on here, and knowing myself the way I do, I would have to assume everyone has a wacky sense of humor. Knowing that is unlikely, I don't try to infer much based on user names.
People always think mine has something to do with "women," but it's just a weird abbreviation for the county where I live (Williamson), since I started out in my local forum before wandering over to the dark side.
I'm always amazed at how many people use the same username in ALL forums. It makes it so easy to figure out who they are.
LOL. For some reason I pick up on the msn in your user name so I thought you had some connection to eh news station MSN.
Rebel is the name of my dog. I also tend to go against the grain of society so I guess the name can fit me as well.
