I have a strong connection to the Isle of Wight, in England. The Roman name for the Island is Vectis, and that's what I wanted as my user name. It was already taken, though, so I slipped another syllable into it.

I was never a "morning person," often a bit on the grumpy side until I had my fill of coffee. My name is Jerry, and the nickname jertheber hung on for a long time. After learning about low blood sugar problems I stopped eating sugar in the AM and became a better person for it. The bear name stuck though, it also was one of my choices that wasn't taken already..

It's funny how people take that to mean that I am completely blase' about life and issues -- which is usually not the case at all -- but I guess I really can't blame them!

There's a guy on CD who goes by the handle " Hand McLovin "

Yes I know it's a bastardization of a movie line, but still. That's funny.

"goodheathen" is meant to indicate atheist who believes in morality but also non-nasty provocateur.

Spoiler
I dare say that on this forum, not enough usernames are meant to cause a reaction.

Many users perfectly describe personality with their username. I think I am one of them.
