I believe someone just resurrected an old thread on OT, and, page after page, it left me wondering and wondering, as well as missing hearing from those posters.

There's on poster who stopped posting a couple years ago, but we keep in contact via email, occasionally, and I plan to visit her this winter, out of state.

I just started this forum last year and there are a couple posters I miss. There are days I can certainly understand why they left though.... gets frustrating with some of the people that like to post not so friendly.

Someone I miss a lot is Taigagirl. She was chatting away one day as normal, then suddenly she was gone. I sent her a couple of PMs. Nothing. It was so odd, and unexplained.

Don't worry Bluesmama, he's still around.. I did mention a while back that I won't be posting as much as I used to, especially on the QOTD threads, I Just don't have that much time to post on there anymore.

Yeah, sure, I think when you saw your photo posted on the Phoenix Post Office wall, then fleeing to Hawaii to hide was when you decided to lay low. We'll find ya pardner and then...

I agree, that's probably most of the reason many leave. Others might just leave because of getting married, relocating out of the country, maybe even becoming instant parents of ready-made families and not having the time anymore.

When people disappear I wonder what happened to them, did life get better and they have no time for forums, or did life get worse? Ya wonder if the folks that left CD are alright and if they ever think about any of us. I've had that happen with internet friends I'd had for years too, they disappear and no replies to messages. And as some of the friends had major problems with depression, it makes me wonder if they are OK.

Me too and I was thinking the exact same thing. I checked my friends list and over half of them are MIA nowadays.

Coastal Maine, Nomad, amberbaby27, Suncoast Guy, Northwoods Voyager, Gue, just to name a few. Just hope they're all OK.
