The first part of your post seemed to be about not seeing him as much as you'd like to. If you want to spend more time with him, what about doing something like buying tickets to the local farm-team baseball game? Or offering to take him to a local amusement park, maybe with a best friend of his. 13 is a tough age - even though he seems to be pushing adults away, he might be able to use another non-parental adult to talk to.
As to the rest of it, he'll grow out of it. At least he's going through that "phase" early - I've known people who were much too old to still be talking like that to their friends.

IMHO, there is a big difference between middle school boys talking trash in their basement or on the street corner but once they put it online under their own name it can stay with them & be linked to them forever.
A thirteen year old probably has no comprehension that his current online wise cracks and posts could be traced back to him and read by adults in the future considering him for college admittance or college scholarships or for employment. Just like he probably never considered that his relatives may be seeing them today.
