I have had people do this to me, and it drives me insane. The way my house is set up you can see my front room through the door so I can't pretend I am not at home. I don't mind close family parents or grand parents but any one else bugs the crap out of me.
Doesn't bother me at all. Anyone I care about is welcome, I can always get dressed quickly, and turn on the coffee pot. I see it as caring enough to drop by and see me.

Yes, I hate it. Thankfully, in our new house you can't see inside from the front door. I particularly hate it when when roaming tree trimmers or whatnot come and pound on the front door.

Yeah, I love when people just show up. At least, the people I like. I like people around though, always have. I came from a big family.
no i dont have an issue with it. however OP you might consider installing blinds on your front windows so that when you dont want to be disturbed, you can close the blinds so no one can look in your windows to see if you are home or not. and there are some that will allow a lot of light in and still allow you to retain your privacy.
