Dissed at Christmas dinner. What would you have done? (meeting, husband, children)

Agreed. I feel a bit sorry for the SD since her SM is the overly sensitive type who seems to think the worst of her off the bat.
And I think back to the poster who said she'd have thrown the food away. The girl's father tells her to bring food for herself - he's not offended, and apparently knew his parents wouldn't be either. Only for someone to grab her food and toss it in the garbage, or tell her she's not allowed to eat it.
And the OP thinking of trying to make a scene at her SD's wedding by ordering pizza for her table.
All this hatred and bile toward the SD whose father was the one that suggested she bring some food for herself.
This is what happened when you ASSume the worst and don't get the facts straight 1st.
I find it curious that so many people took seriously the idea that the OP would order Domino's to the wedding.
This wasn't your husband's fault! You're the one who thought the worst of the kid and dissed HER all over the Internet.
And you don't even say you're mortified, or sorry, or that you feel bad, or stupid, or WRONG.

Yep.
Wonder if the OP and any of the posters who reveled in denomizing the SD will come back and recant their words?
wow...i go to work one day, and come back to find 14 more pages of posts added
i am seriously going to need to ask my boss for time off to read and catch up
better yet, post at work. who needs to answer the phones anyway? those patients in need of medication and bleeding in the lobby waiting to be triaged will just have to wait
Why are we talking about Europe? This thread is divided enough between missing information, black baby Jesus, and made up details.
We don't need another non-sensical tangent.
that's what they need to have next year, a nativity scene. black baby James will be 3 by then so he can be one of the wise men. Will Taco Belle have a baby by then to put in the manger? didn't you say they were rushing the wedding because she was expecting a baby? Then sweet black baby James will have someone more his own age to sit with at the nativity scene. They could have little Taco Bell dogs kneeling by the manger.

Well more arguing. But the main thing to know is, the step-daughter's father (OP's husband) actually told her they were having ham, and suggested for her to pick up something else to eat for herself on her way. He suggested "fried chicken, or something." She chose Taco Bell.
So the entire thread and offense taken was for nothing, because the step-daughter got an ok from her father to bring her own meal.

Can we place bets on appropriately white names? Biff. Brad....

Once I went through the Taco Bell drive through and placed a huge order because I had a bunch of teens in the car and everyone was starving. As many people know, a huge order of Taco Bell can actually be very cheap. Anyway, we got home, and get this - this huge two bags of Taco Bell stuff was NOTHING THAT WE ORDERED. So I called and complained and they told us to come get our real order - for free. Since it was five minutes away, I did that - and now we had four bags of every conceivable Taco Bell offering.
this happened to us too. regularly. The Taco Bell we went to closest to the middle school my kids went to had no one that spoke English (or so it seemed) and we routinely got other people's orders. my kids did not mind because they tried some different menu items and only complained if the order was smaller, in which case they always gave them a full entire new order.
the funniest thing though was once going through drive thru late at night, my son was very specific he said 17 hot sauce packets, and we get home and he's wondering why the bag is so heavy and it turns out it is because they put in 70 (seventy) hot sauce packets instead. For his three soft tacos.
do you know what the funniest kosher food i have found on the market, since I found out I was Jewish and started keeping kosher? There is a potato chip that is maple bacon flavor. I just love that. Bacon flavor potato chips that are kosher. And they are delicious, too, and they were served at the Rabbi's house so I know they are OK for me to eat.
